Connect Claude
Claude remembers your chats on its own, inside Claude. Add Saudad as a custom connector, and what you tell Claude is known to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and every other agent you connect.
Claude
Works on Claude’s Free plan too, which allows one custom connector.
Copy your address.
Choose Copy above.
Open Claude’s connectors.
In Claude on the web or the desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors. Choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
You’ll see a box asking for a name and a URL.
Paste it in.
Name it Saudad, paste the address, and choose Continue. Choose Continue again, choose Sign in now, then choose Add.
A Saudad page opens. If you’re not signed in there, enter your email and the 6-digit code we send.
You’ll see Connect Claude to your memory. Keep Read and save, then choose Allow.
Try it.
Start a new chat and type: Remember that I prefer short answers. Then start another new chat and ask: How do I like my answers?
The first time, Claude can take up to 30 seconds to reach your memory. After that it’s quick.
If Claude doesn’t use Saudad, choose + in the chat, then Connectors, and turn Saudad on.
How Claude remembers today
Updated , from the vendor’s own pages; each source shows the day it was read.
Claude has a memory of its own. It’s on by default on the Free, Pro and Max plans, and Claude saves it as individual topics while you chat. On Team and Enterprise, the workspace’s owners decide whether it’s available.[1]
Each project in Claude has its own memory, used alongside your memory from chats outside projects, and searching your past chats is for paid plans. Claude can also import memory you paste in from another assistant: a one-time copy that Anthropic calls experimental, not a live link.[1][2]
What Claude’s memory doesn’t do is leave Claude. Claude Code keeps its own files on your computer, and your other agents keep their own memories, so each knows a different part of you. Saudad is one memory outside all of them: Claude reads it and saves to it through a custom connector, and every other agent you connect uses the same one.[3]
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan, and the Free plan allows one. You add them on the web or in Claude Desktop, and Claude reaches them from Anthropic’s cloud, not from your computer.[4]
Questions
Does Saudad replace Claude’s own memory?
No, you can keep both. Claude’s memory stays inside Claude. Saudad is the memory every agent you connect shares, and you can see, edit, undo and export everything in it.
Does it work on Claude’s Free plan?
Yes. Claude’s Free plan allows one custom connector, which is all Saudad needs.
Why doesn’t Claude use Saudad in a chat?
Connectors are switched on per conversation. Choose + in the chat, then Connectors, and turn Saudad on.
Has Saudad been tested with Claude?
Not on this build yet. We mark an app as tested only once a test on the current build is recorded, and the connect page says so.
What does Saudad cost?
€9 a month billed yearly, or €12 monthly, VAT included, after a 14-day free trial with no card.
